That makes.... 129km left before I get my bloody license!
I'm almost there!
Alright alright, but I really sacrificed a lot of stuff just to get this far....
Imagine changing back into your smart 4 at millenia walk after a short dinner with your friends lasting two hours?
Imagine the stares you get when you literally walk through the halls of Suntec wearing those clothes?
Wanted to change at Kallang, but after thinking of the sheer amount of people there (NDP Full Dress Rehearsal 2, + Family Day invitations) using the toilets, I guess it can't be helped.
Oh well...
Basically I was free on Saturday, after coaxing my detailing spec not to put me on detail. But things took a turn for the worse...
The ambulance driver on detail, was supposedly to be accessed on that same day, but the Senior Transport Supervisor could not pass him to certify that he can drive the ambulance. In the end, my MTL was one ambulance driver short.
15 ambulance drivers. Almost all say cannot make it. Do you know how frustrating that can get? Calling 15 numbers and only to get two to come down?
In the end, one of the Minibus drivers at the stadium, took over the ambulance, and I, took over the bloody minibus.
Lan Lan Suck Thumb.
And all because of the detail, I'm late for the dinner, and has to change to my military uniform in the city.
Anyways, my friends and I celebrated dinner at Uberburger.
Err.... not that Uber.
When I talk about uber, I'm talking about how many crazy frags one can make using his carbine when playing CS... it kind of gives a good vibe, but Uberburger?
NO FREAKING WAY MAN.
I think they provide good service to those rich people who pays 101 buckeroos to eat a tiny burger.
First off, there was no air ventilation. The weather outside was already so bloody hot, and they still didn't turn down the thermostat?
Then the service got to me. Or rather I got to them. The restaurant wasn't that busy, but the people working there are really slow in attending to me. I think they assumed that once the table has taken their orders, everybody's orders are already made. Or maybe they ignored my presence when I entered the restaurant.
Because I'm wearing a NYP T-shirt and thought I could not afford to have a meal at Uberburger?
In the end, I went up to them and took the pork-beef burger. Sorry for being crude, but I can't remember the name of the dish that I don't take a liking to.
THe patty was medium rare, but still hard... probably the outside was overcooked.
The salad was okay, as well as the separate special sauce that had a tinge of lemon, mustard, and a wasabi aftertaste.
But service at Uberburger was really really bad. Even for me who is service tolerant.
Hell, Billy Bombers at the Heeren is even better.
