The second book in...

I have one thing to declare.

I love to SLEEP.

I need 8 hours of sleep to keep me in a good mood.

If not, I will go paranoid and think of crazy crap like smacking someone's asses or pushing people down in assumed urgency. Most of the time, I do them too.

The SAF now owes me 21 hours of sleep. I got some of them back by sleeping 10 hours each day when I book out. But, with the fact that my friday book outs are no more (indefinite at the most), and next week's live range eating away a few more hours of my sleep time each day...

The Blur Cock King is getting revived again...

Anyways, We did some simulated shooting last week, missing out on a lot of PT. I can feel my muscles getting softer and softer... And my cardio is getting sucky too...

And at the simulated shooting, I nearly cocked up man... My eyesight got real blurred on the last day of the shooting, and I have to drop out. Thank god the second time, I can at least get a good look on my targets even though they look blurred.

Of course, most of my platoon mates are happy they don't have to exercise as much, but I hope they know that it might get ugly when we kanna punishments....

On other news, I have been pressing the Sports I/C of my company to propose a event on Ultimate Frisbee. Had a tough time, but after little talk with my superior, he actually supported it! He actually made a dicussion with the others who have finished the shooting. What I heard from my friends was something like this... (I failed the first shooting, remember?)

Company-Mates: Blah... Blah... How about captain's ball?

Superior: Blah... Blah... Try Ultimate Frisbee, it's more challenging than Captain's Ball... Blah... Blah...

Company-Mates: Ah...

That's what I can garner... Just hope that my company mates are really motivated to play this sport, because there is also the Soccer and Basketball Tournaments. Added with the facts that I have to actually teach them how to play frisbee and getting the NUMBER of Frisbees could actually affect my Financial Burden indeed, I wonder how this is gonna work out.

Right now, I am writing the Laymen of LAYMEN's Terms on how to play frisbee. And given the limits on how much space I can do it on (A4 size), THIS IS REALLY GIVING ME A REAL HEADACHE...

One of my company sergeants actually knows about this sport, but all he can talk to me about is airbrushing... And he's not even in my platoon!!!

I seriously need help...

A Civilian's Life

When I went for Nigel's 21st Birthday and was on Weiliang's car to catch , I realised I missed out quite a lot on my life....

Enjoying a great party at east coast yesterday, chatting up with friends, fellow botak friends, and sharing experiences from the previous obese batch is very enlightening.

Caught a movie, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle... Not a bad show, but the i think the army has made my sense of humor go lower than usual...

Time to go back to my usual disciplined lifestyle today... let's hope the bookouts does not affect me when I go back in Tekong, or else, it's HALF LEFT DOWN......

3 weeks in BMT

*** A little army lingo here, so bear with me... :-) ***

Wah, I actually survived for 3 weeks in SAF!

Let's see.... what happened...

A lot of people i know are near my Company, old and new.

At least the place doesn't get too lonely when you turn around in the cookhouse, and get to wink at someone that you know.

Mr G0dspeed is in the same platoon as me, my secondary schoolmate lives in the same bunk as me, and Jason, who can't pass his 2.4 (muahhaah) is staying in the same block as me. Still got a lot more... but if I continue writing, this might become a novel... hahha

And Horrors of Horrors!!! My Platoon Sargeant is my classmate in Sec 1! Took me quite a while to recognise him, and when I did, my platoon mates were already egging me... Extremely stressed.... but just before the confinement period ended, The feeling just faded away, which feels kind of good.

My Platoon Commander is a battle dwarf. First two weeks, He was always looking us down like we are trash, but he got nicer just before the bookout too. Scary feeling, but it is great to take off the heavy sack off my back.

The training is still tolerable... Guess it's the way of progressive training, and I can manage 15 standard pushups!!! and 40 crunches!

Living in the bunks is comfortable, maybe those with outgoing lifestyles like Weiliang may go crazy, but seriously, if given a choice, I would want to continue living in the camp just like that. All the basic needs are met, and it feels just like a second home. haha...

And guess what? I'm chosen as one of the four AAR I/Cs! It's something like blogging here, only with a little military sense.

This also caused a little bit of stress to me. You see, the Platoon Commander also reads this. Very stress, because one post caught his eye, and he talked to the platoon with a stern tone, demanding for the writer of that post. I was out in Singapore at that time for a medical appointment, so the whole platoon thought I wrote it at that point of time.

And the 'arrowing' begins. So does the stress. But after I got the AAR book on the next day... CHARLIE BROWN!!! I'm not Guilty LAH!

Also, one of our platoon mates got a little crazed and booked out on parent's visiting day. Apparently, after injuring his back, he keeps complaining about it and has a lot of suicidal thoughts...

Right now, he's AWOL, meaning that he doesn't give a shit about SAF, and goes missing in tekong without telling anything. But if he comes back, we would LOVE a Blanket Party or sorts....

On the other hand, one of us got a knee injury and his specialists opted for him to go out of training. That means he can't complete his BMT, but he has to stay with us and do whatever the storeman tells him. Super sad.

I almost went into that state, and the only difference was that the doctor asked whether I can cope with it.

Right now...I'm still pressing on... the painkillers are helping... which is good because I don't wince a bit every time I walk. I want to give it my best shot.

Also I kanna platoon offender with Peter, because in the haste of completing something in very little time, our signatures were out of regulations. Heard from my friends that it means signing for extra guard duties, either that, or the being easily arrowed type.

Stressed.......

One last blog before I declare that I'll die for Singapore

;) a picture of me to remember.... :) Posted by Hello

Last blog before I get enlisted...

Here's a photo that will remind me what will be changed at the end of my basic military training.

I think I will go all the way in camp. I know that my Sir knows the limits of me.

And I promise you bloggers and blog readers.....

I will become a different man.

Promise? (Read: Shout it out in my Tagboard! :-) )

Looking up the past...

I think I left out the part about visiting my old neighbour. Just updated the last two posts... Actually I was trying to find photos of him, and I uncovered some really kick ass pics and some albino ones..ahhaha

One of the photos actually look quite 80s, but I just visualise me with long flowing hair (at that time, my longest strand touches my chin) and I am absolutely awed.... if I remember correctly, that's when I'm secondary 4 and trying to go under an extreme makeover. but still fell short of determination.
Starting with keeping long hair, and playing basketball vigorously... then I realised that there is really no meaning to this.. and people might start having me for what I am...

Look at my hair blowing in the wind... I think I look farking handsome... Bleah~ Posted by Hello

One Final Eating Out :-)

I guess I've done most I have wanted at this point of life... except for sex... hahaha...

.... alright alright.... and the ending of FMA Anime, conclusion of Naruto Manga and The Premiere of Gundam Seed Destiny....

I had a final dinner with someone before I enlist. I guess, I'm pretty much ready and awaiting for the next experience.

If you were to say about being prepared, I would say that I'm prepared for anything, except for those unnecessary pushups and blanket parties. Most of my friends have bought stuff in case something out of the blue happens, like a zip-loc bag leaking water from nowhere.

Me? Nope. But I realised that I need a pair of those rimmed glasses that are black and thick. Just hope I can get it in time by Wednesday.

Alright, here are some stuff we did in front of the camera... til the next blog!

Welcome, Boring Me Part III

Things I need to do before NS:
1)Get Snake Powder (done)

prickly heat for the whole of BMT Posted by Hello

Went to Malaysia last time with my dad, and look what I got! a tin of snake powder the length of my face!!! Yahoo!!!

2)Visit my old home before it gets demolished for Condos
--------------------------------------------------------
Well, I didn't tell you this, but I moved away from my house @ Hillview when I was primary school. It's a sweet place. big fields, big hill, great wild wild wet, and of course the MINDEF headquarters.

A long time ago, this old neighbourhood of mine, was surrounded my one storeyed-cubicles and factories, churning out processed cooking oil and petroleum. Now the factories make way for the Condominums.

Sidenote: dictionary meaning for this word Condominium: Joint control of a State's affairs by two or more other States.
And that's the only meaning it has.. :-)

Really have to go see it one last time... and also get the my mother's favorite laksa and yang tau foo there. Procastinated three times after realising that the camera was flat on friday, and I woke up late on saturday...

3)Meet up with my friends
-------------------------
Well, I am supposed to meet my friends up, and meet them up I did. Happened on Friday midnight, and what a crazy night it was. I guess the chances of meeting them after my Basic Military Training is impossible, so we had a party! Went to Changi Village, and saw a lot of 'babes'. I'm serious, they really look like authentic babes. Had wanted to talk them up, but friends didn't want any trouble, so we went driving around before heading to Selegie Road.

photogenic friends, and I have not asked them to smile yet! Posted by Hello

One more friend beside me Posted by Hello

Then we had some drinks and food at Cafe Cartel. Just guess what I order with TX?

The worst picture taken so far....
Posted by Hello

Yeap, One plate of St. Louis Pork Ribs. Alright... the ribs are not where it is supposed to be, but TX got his right on....

Then on the ride home, I suddenly had a sleep out of nowhere. I dreamt I was not in Peter's car, but in a taxi! and the sending of my four friends incurred a cost of $131.50!!! and not including the midnight charge!!! Really scared the wits out of me, but by that time, Peter just reached my home liao....

P.S. : My mom got a hunch and got me to buy 4D for 1031, and 1315. Dunno will win or not leh... cos haven't put midnight charge!! haaha.....

4)Find my old neighbour
-------------------------
Yeah, this neighbour of mine, studied in the same primary school as me... he has an old brother to take care of, because his brother had a fever when he was an infant... Played with his toys when young, even though we are restricted by the grille gates... He has this funny habit of missing out on my contact. Don't know if it's the fact that he is avoiding me, but after secondary two, I lost contact with him...

Now, my old neighbourhood seems set on shutting down, and most of my old neighbours there have moved to Bukit Gombak... so I really think that meeting him is quite impossible now... still I must grab the chance to knock upon his door when I reached my old neighbour hood....

My old neighbour that I hanged out with even when I moved... Posted by Hello

5)Get out of here
-----------------
Got that wish... will be getting out soon... ahahaha

6)Get off that bloody game that was made 7 years ago
------------------------------------------------------
Anyone played heroes of might and magic II? Oh yeah, I'm still stuck to this game for ages....
7)Get off that bloody game that was released a few days ago
------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone played Doom III?!!! Oh yeah, I'm still stuck to this game for ages too.... but not so much as HOMM II. The system keeps hanging because of the high requirements and yeah... the First Person Shooter is really getting to me... hahaha

Also, the requirements are really high... so good luck!
Requirements of DOOM III
8)Nag my sister into getting a better job
------------------------------------------

And when my mom nags her, she just says, "I know la!"

And when my dad nags her, she slams her room door shut.

And when I nag her, my parent ask me to shut up.

This is getting me crazy, but I really think I should poke into others' business...

An Interlude to Endless Screams...

I'm in the middle of preparing my third part of my boring part, where i can hear soldiers screaming, one road away from my home. Apparently, the K9 camp has started it activities. Screaming out the sets of exercises they were doing, it's getting to me, real bad... and it does not help that i have five days left before the armys enlists me in, and I was almost ready to welcome the training with open arms.

In the HOT afternoon sun leh! for 5 straight hours, training! And still going on!!! No wonder there are the water parades....

Welcome, Boring Me Part II

Once again I have come to blabber in this place once again.... Here's what happened so far...

1)My shoutbox is dead.
------------------------
Just why is no one talking in my shoutbox??? talk leh......
Then again... maybe I should turn off the comments after every blog....

2a)I am an exercising bastard
-----------------------------
Had a skirmish... alright alright, scrimmage against a group of very beri strong people on Saturday. Really screwed up my knees... both of them were creaking like hell for three days, after I played Ulty for quite a number of points...
I had went to the doctor to ask the status on my legs, and whether I can be fit for the Sing Open next month...

"NO, " he said, which really sucked.

In the end, I pulled out of the team lineup, and felt quite bad about it, because it looks like really last minute, and I had a hellish number of thoughts that people were thinking that I might not have enough money.

And remember that exercise plan I drew up in my last blog? can forget it lah.. I have been following 50% of the whole program the last week, and this week, it's really pathetic.

Now I have been following only the exercises that my physio taught me, and the swimming crap whenever I have the chance (ahem, orders) to go to Woodlands to take care of my grandma. Tried to increase walking whenever I can, like a kilometre for some straightforward bus transport instead of the nearby MRT.

2b)I lost control of my diet
-----------------------------
I think it started happening last Thursday, when the graduation thing was going on. Went to NYP on Thursday to meet up with the MIT and BI people who were slated for the ceremony later on. Farihah DIDN'T BRING MY CDs!!!!

Ok, besides that, the reception (read: buffet) had a wide spread of food waiting for me to conquer... so go figure... here is a face of pure bliss at the place

i look much happier... must be the food... Posted by Hello

On Friday, it was my turn, and I didn't eat at the reception!!! I was too damn busy, but what the hell, my classmate decided to eat at the Sakura Sushi Buffet which had a spread of sushi, tepanyaki, cooked food, and stuff, so once again, I am very much obilged to eat again.

no...No....NO!!!! Posted by Hello

And heh heh... to top it all off, last Tuesday was Stephen's 21st birthday! so we had a feast at suki sushi. same thing as last Friday, only yummier, with scallops! So.. can thrash the eating plan also....

Sidelined topic:
On Stephen's birthday, we did a video for him... really had a lot of fun, and yeah, I was watching it, since it was done, for quite a number of times already. Say, a thousand?

3)I am gonna die without a computer
-------------------------------------
I am literally stuck to my computer til the wee hours of the night, making a nightowl out of myself.. and I really need to adjust my biological clock b4 I enlist... or else... RAWGH!!

Anyways, I am either looking websites, or playing games... which is making me some kind of a couch potato.

4)I need to take care of the computer mess of mine, and my relative's
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am in the middle of backing up my computer, and updating my relative's and my computers' OS to XP Professional. I just hope that the virus, worms, and bugs do not hit my PC....

I have to say that the Backing Up IS A CHORE.

5)I need money
----------------
I use at least 5 bucks in travelling to and back, in a day. Have to take buses, as MRTs are really expensive, even though it's fast. Main reason for staying at home... to cite an example:

I have to freaking travel to freaking clarke quay to play an hour of Ultimate? no thanks....
Eating out? $$$ flies away...
Now what can I say....

I am left with 40 bucks for the remaining days before enlistment... BAD.....

6)I need to run around freely
-----------------------------
Yet again... lazy to explain...

7)I need to make my flab less obvious
--------------------------------------
short story... lazy to explain.... i really need a shirt to cover it up... hahaha

8)I need to make more time and stop helping people
--------------------------------------------------
Yet again.... I waste my life time aiding people... which sucks... and sometimes a big waste of time.

Will continue this when I have computer time... till then!
